Trio of Ministers speak at Chamber business breakfast

The Chief, Treasury and Enterprise Ministers reflected on the challenges of the past 12 months – and the challenges ahead – at a Chamber of Commerce business breakfast briefing, sponsored by Appleby.

MHKs Howard Quayle, Alf Cannan and Laurence Skelly were guests at ‘Three Ministers’ event held at the Comis Hotel. It was open to Chamber members and non-members and attracted an audience from across the Island’s business community eager to hear their thoughts on the economic challenges and opportunities that the Island faces.

Chamber CEO Rebecca George thanked the Ministers, sponsors Appleby, and everyone in the audience who attended. She added: “As we expected, this was a very popular event and provided a valuable insight into a wide range of topics including climate change, Government as a single legal entity, skills strategy, and attracting talent to the Island. Chamber will be organising more open forums like this as part of our strategy to increase engagement between the public, private and third sectors, and to ensure that the voice of the business community continues to be heard.”

Details about upcoming events can be found on the Chamber website
