An Isle of Man resident has become the first person in over 120 days to contract Covid 19. The news was confirmed at a press conference this morning by Chief Minister, Howard Quayle.
The person was said to have arrived by plane from the UK, and has rigidly followed all the quarantine protocols.
Health Minister, David Ashford said it was an isolated incident which is under control. He added that the Isle of Man retains its Covid free status despite the new case.
He said the island’s Covid procedures have worked perfectly.
