General election day in the Isle of Man

Voters go to the polls today for the Isle of Man General Election. Polling stations around the Island will be open between 8am and 8pm.

Several new faces in the House of Keys are guaranteed after a number of outgoing politicians chose not to seek re-election.

They included Chief Minister, Howard Quayle, who is currently recovering at home following a stroke.

The new administration will have much to deal with – not least the financial implications of the Coronavirus pandemic.
