29 days Coronavirus free as the pubs re-open fully

The Isle of Man has racked up its 29th day without a case of Covid 19. The good news was revealed at this afternoon’s media briefing, by Health Minister, David Ashford.

The Minister said three people were waiting to be tested and a further 28 were awaiting their test results. The three who are yet to be tested are all part of the extended testing regime.

Meanwhile further restrictions have been lifted today with the Island’s public houses opening their doors for normal trading for the first time since lockdown began. Police say they will be carrying out patrols this evening to ensure revellers don’t get too carried away and behave appropriately. The message is for people to pace themselves, have a good time and ensure they have arranged transport home.
